2013 Camp Details
WOLVERINE LACROSSE CAMP
The Wolverine Lacrosse Camp is a developmental style camp designed for intermediate players who are looking to develop their skills, overall concepts and understanding of the game. This camp is open to rising 6th through 11th graders and each player will be placed in a skill group and on a team according to age and ability levels. The camp will feature an outstanding and knowledgeable, experienced “hands-on” staff comprised of college coaches and players. Camp curriculum covers all facets of the game and includes individual skill breakdown, offensive and defensive concepts, small game situations, and full field competitive games designed to take your game to the next level. Goalkeepers will receive specialized instruction.
The Michigan Elite Lacrosse Camp is for advanced players and is open to rising 9th graders through 12th graders and graduating seniors who have committed to play in college. The Elite Camp will feature a top-level staff comprised of experienced and knowledgeable Division I coaches & players who will help you elevate your game and prepare you for the next level. This intense 3-day camp is designed to provide the serious and experienced lacrosse player a competitive and challenging experience. The camp learning environment will be fast-paced and the curriculum will focus on advanced-level skills & concepts through drills, small-sided games and full-field competition. Goalkeepers will receive specialized instruction. It is recommended that Elite campers have high school varsity or club experience
REGISTRATION: We are only accepting online registration for camp. You may pay with e-check or credit card. Note: Registration will close on Monday, July 1, 2013. An early bird discount of $25 will be applied to those who registrations prior to May 1. A group discount is available to groups of ten or more campers. The discount is $40 per individual. PAYMENT POLICY: Prior to June 1, a $250 deposit is due when you submit your online registration. The remaining balance is due June 1. Online registrations are automatically billed the balance due on June 1 to the card used to register if not paid prior to June 1. After June 1, registrations will still be accepted online, but must be submitted with the full camp fee.

WHAT TO BRING:
FACILITIES: The Wolverine Lacrosse Camps use Mitchell Fields, a large grass field complex between Central Campus and North Campus. If necessary, evening sessions will also utilize campus athletic facilities.
MEALS: Meals will be eaten in the Bursley Dining Hall on the campus of the University of Michigan.
ROOMMATES: All parties involved must request each other. Your request is not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate you. Requests can be made during the online registration process.
MEDICAL INSURANCE: The medical consent and liability form MUST be filled out completely and faxed to 734-763-8447 prior to July 1. If a camper has had a sports physical within one calendar year of the start of camp, she may attach a copy of that physical in lieu of having a physician sign the form. The medical form can be on the Required Forms page. Campers must turn in all documents to participate in camp activities: no exceptions!
CHECK-IN: Check-in for both camps will be held between 11:00am and 1pm on Tuesday in the lobby of the Bursley Residence Hall. Overnight campers should plan to arrive between 11:00am and 12:30pm. Commuters should plan to arrive between 12:30pm and 1:00pm. There is a mandatory camp orientation meeting at 1:30pm.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out for both camps will be on Thursday between 11:30am - 12:30pm. Please make travel arrangements with this schedule in mind. Flights home on Thursday should be scheduled for 4pm or later. (The drive to the airport takes about 30 minutes). Commuters can be picked up directly from Mitchell Fields. Overnight campers must be picked up from Bursley Residence Hall after they have been checked out of their rooms.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If a cancellation notification is received via email to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Monday, July 1, 2013 you will be refunded your camp fee minus a $75 non-refundable administrative deposit. Refunds (less $75 admin fee) after July 1, 2013 will only be given for medical reasons and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician. Severe Weather Conditions: In the event of weather that threatens the safety of campers and staff, or that the University determines will cause severe damage to the fields, all campers will be moved indoors to the Bursely cafeteria for lacrosse video instruction and/or other activities. Although very rare, severe weather or constant rain can make local fields unplayable, every effort will be made to move the session to other facilities if weather becomes a major problem, the camp cannot guarantee alternate field and transportation availability. Please note: Camp cannot be held financially responsible for sessions cancelled due to weather beyond the camps control.
